A long day working on new music - hatching plans at the Lemon under deep blue skies - Essex gets wet.
Bright light - thick black silhouettes, pirates on the radio all beats slowed to dub-pace. Poets fall out've
phones, cascades of text messages - Clifford Yates, Benjamin Zephania. Jamming the Blues with
Tony McPhee, Art with Oz & curious things with Beno. A great vibe pervades the camp but Mal
gets carted-off to A&E & the 'Turn' struggles to set up
the live-kit upon it's return from Belgium.
Good to be home.
Tuesday 18th November
Rode the rails south out've the freezing winds of the provinces & into the warm belly of Lodnum. I was really enjoying writing in alone in the corner of the carriage until a loud threesome enroute to the office surrounded me, recounting tales of Cornish holiday's loudly. Now I wouldn't normally mind as I'm usually sat within ear-shot but far enough away to discretely write it all down.....

Forgive me not writing more but as the day went on the weekend celebrations caught up with me.

The metro system is big here extending beyond the "3rd ring"-
106km of choking concrete that surrounds "central" Moscow.
Going Underground today, attempting to translate Cyrillic
station names to find a stop where Lenin towers over
Kaluzhskaya Ploshad........ (
